Anyone out there been given a mortgage when they had a ccj on their credit rating but no debt outstanding?

    This will depend on;-

    registration date
    amount
    satisfaction date
    deposit percentage.

    Ultimately, the result here is going ton be to recommend you to an independent broker. Obtain all three versions of your credit file before doing so.

    Yes, exactly because as Kingstreet says, we had a lot of positives going for us in other areas. My OH had two reasonably large, satisfied, CCJs on his credit report when we got our mortgage. We went through a broker and got a decent rate that has seen us through until both credit reports are pristine.
