Is there anything included in that list that you don't want? If so I'd ask whether you can remove it and and get an adjusted total.

Just my opinion but I think four courses is a lot if you're having canapes, buffet and cake as well. Could you cut a course and replace it with more drinks? To be honest you could easily cut it to two (starter and main meal) and serve the cake as dessert.
