I walk most places and my boots from last year were rubbish at keeping my feet dry on the wet days, so I am looking to buy a pair of good quality waterproof boots.
Any recommendations welcome please xx

If your boots are comfy, have you thought about a pair of sealskinz socks?
I've only heard good things about them and I bought my dad a pair of their gloves with grips to keep his hands dry and warm while rallying."We always find something, hey Didi, to give us the impression we exist?" Samuel Beckett, Waiting for Godot.

I bought a black fabric pair from Aldi or Lidl a few years ago. I think they were classed as snow boots. They cost £17.00ish & they've been brilliant; completely waterproof! They have a slight furry lining, keep the toes cosy & they're very comfortable too.
I'm not sure when they'll have the ski stuff back in (I think that's when I got mine) but as they tend to have similar seasonal things in every year, it might be worth having a look at them if you haven't already bought a pair.0 -
Not attractive, but warm and waterproof - rigger boots. Last where wellies and muckers failed.
about £15-20 new on ebay.0 -
I'd definately recommend the sealskinz socks mentioned above (cheapest on amazon I think). I purchased them last year after failing to find boots that stayed totally waterproof for long and they are brilliant. We camp and walk in the moors a lot and they have made a huge difference, you wear normal socks underneath so stay dry and toasty!
Worth every penny in my opinion!0
