  • Sorry to bump. I've seen a number of comps from this promoter and have sidestepped them on the suspicion that any prizes have to be collected. Can me right?

I take it as open to all as no exclusion re location is stated.

    Worth a punt after all?

As it is local paper competition with the prize being supplied by a local bike shop it is a fair bet that the prize will have to be collected. I have had a go as a trip to Newport is worth it for a £750 bike.

Now there is just the small matter of actually winning it :D
  • I won a comp earlier in the year for a £450 bike. I didn't realise it was collection only from Edinburgh, but I managed to find a courier to pack it safely and bring it to Sheffield for me for £50 - cheaper and less time consuming than travelling up and well worth it for a great prize (my best win so far).
