Whats is the wait time before applying for Porting the mortgage

Hi,
We recently switched our mortgage from HSBC to Skipton( this month). I wanted to find out what is the normal wait period before i can apply for porting the mortgage to a bigger home?
Some say it is 3 months and some say 6 months. Any idea what is the normal waiting time?

Suggest you ring them as not a common occurrence. You'll need to go through the whole application process again from the beginning. As you'll be applying for a new mortgage.0
