Senior Railcard vs. Two Together Railcard

Sorry if this has been asked before but I have been round and round the Forum!
If my wife and I buy a Senior Railcard each (we are eligible!) it costs us £27 each (with discount) i.e £54 in total.
However if we buy a Two Together Railcard it's only £27 (discounted) for BOTH of us.
Have I missed something?
(We would travel together anyway. I know there are some different restrictions on travel times but that wouldn't bother us.)
Any advice please?
TIA
CJ :)

With the 2 together, you'd have to be together, whereas with the senior railcard, you can go your separate ways
just passing through.... Nothing to see....

FYI, you can get either card for £15 worth of Tesco clubcard vouchers

    Two other major considerations.

You can get discounts on peak time fares on the senior r/c.

And with Virgin you can travel peak time on their services with off peak fares.

If either of those are important it may be worth the senior r/c.
But if ever I stray from the path I follow
Take me down to the English Channel
Throw me in where the water is shallow And then drag me on back to shore!
'Cos love is free and life is cheap As long as I've got me a place to sleep
Clothes on my back and some food to eat I can't ask for anything more

Agreed, except for travel wholly within the Network Area (area covered by Network/Gold Cards and formerly known as Network Southeast area)
