Sainsbury's 5% off 6 bottles of wine WITHDRAWN

I found out last weekend that Sainsbury's have now followed Tesco's and dropped their long-standing offer of 5% off wine and spirits when you buy 6 or more bottles. I went shopping with my '£12 off a £60 shop' Nectar voucher, saw the small orange notice on the shelf in the usual place saying "5% off 6 bottles" in letters large enough to read easily, with some much smaller writing underneath, and duly selected 12 bottles, but noticed after checking my receipt that no discount had been taken off. I enquired at the customer service desk, who checked for me and said that the offer had been permanently withdrawn on 4th August and that the orange notice on the shelf explained that in the small print underneath - which had been too tiny for me to read without getting out my reading glasses and peering at it closely! I do think they could have made the end of the discount clearer (as in my thread title), as I had deliberately made sure that the notice was there and could only read the header when I was selecting my wine
