Hi there, just got married and been on honeymoon. This has led to both are bank accounts being a bit all over the place in the last couple of months. If we were to apply for a joint mortgage will we be looked at unfavourably as It would appear we have lavish spending? We are both still in the black (just about) but three months bank statements would definitely not be representative of our normal spending. Is it worth waiting until things have gone back to normal?

I think I'd give it a while so bank accounts show more regular spending, and savings a little healthier0

Far more to a successful mortgage application than transactions on your bank statements over a few months.0
