A easy recipes for samosas filling. please

Options
I have some samosa pastry in the freeze for some odd reason. (don't know why it was bought)

And would like a easy recipe for a nice filling but not to spicy as will be for kids to.

Can be veg or meat.

You can really put anything you want in them... I would sweat some diced onions and carrots, then add chopped cooked potato, chopped cooked meat, peas and a pinch of curry powder and a little salt. Moisten it up with a bit of tomato puree and water, or cream cheese.

I've never actually made them though, that's just what I would do!

You could use frozen mixed veg. That would be really easy.

How about this one? Only peas and potatoes plus the spices, so very mse. I doubt they'd be very hot with only 1/4 tsp of chilli powder.

Sorry this is late but if you were ever 'stuck', you can make perfectly passable samosa filling in a frying pan from a sweated onion, a little garlic, tinned or frozen mixed veg and Pataks curry paste (choose your favourite).
Chickpeas or paneer are also acceptable for a bit of protein added in.

In my family (we're part Kashmiri), Pataks is the only acceptable option if you're not going to make your own.
