Help Me I'm Confused.

Any hotel I have looked at staying in, I have searched Trip Advisor etc and am so confused over the conflicting opinions I cant decide to go or not.
The holiday is for me and the better half, and 2 boys aged 8 and 12...I have a budget of £2500, and all the hotels I looked at are all inclusive....the budget doesnt include spending money by the way.... I can get a few at this price and under. We all just want to relax and have a bit of fun occassionally, mess in the pool etc etc...
Any thoughts, or if anyone has been would be much Thanked..........

Me my hubby and 2 kids(6 & 8) went last year. We were worried aswell due to conflicting reviews. We stayed at the lti grand azure. We had a fab holiday and spent hardley any money couple of hundred on trips and gifts.
The new first choice hotel in sharm looks great as well if you have children.
I would go to Egypt again and the kids class it as thier favourite holiday. They are quite well travelled (Spain, Florida, Cuba, Egypt ,Turkey) but they always talk about Egypt. Go and enjoy yourself:j :j :j :j :j0 -
Hi Lou29, thanks for the reply, my finger is still hovering over the button though.....did you go all inclusive? I dont want to make a mistake, but like I said, sun, sand, water and a bit of fun is all were after

Press the button and go for it...another persons great holiday could be your worst nightmare and vice versa. I have heard mostly positive things about Egypt ( one is it is CHEAP).
You will never know if it is a mistake if you dont go, and if you do go you can add your report to the mixed reviews on tripadvisor.0 -
Go for it! Sharm will be very hot in August but its still a great place to go (most places have aircon). Remember to take Tripadvisor reviews with a pinch of salt...people are more likely to complain than praise!
Which hotel are you looking at? If you're located in Naama Bay then I definately wouldn't go all inclusive...there are literally hundreds of lovelly restaurants in Sharm: eating out in Egypt is cheap by our standards.0 -
Is Egypt safe at the moment?.....0

Its as safe as anywhere else in the world  No-where is completely safe any more: tourists are far too good a target for terrorists to ignore. But Egypt does as much as it can to ensure the safety of tourists (they can't afford not too - they need the money that tourism brings!). I lived in Egypt for over a year (bombs did go off while was there) and not once did I feel unsafe. I don't think twice before going into London and neither have I any safety concerns about Egypt. In fact Egypt is probably safer as the government can do what it likes to prevent terrorists, they don't have to justify their actions to anyone
This part doesnt bother me, I was born and dragged up Belfast Northern Ireland;) and used to it.......UNFORTUNATELY
I appreciate the input, its me I suppose, we all want a holiday away and to be honest, spending £3000.00 maybe £3500.00 in Spain this year pains me. Been there 4 out of the last 5 years and need something different.....Photome....I think you hit the nail on the head and Im up fot it.....Egypt here we come, as long as we dont have to Kiss any Camels:rotfl: :rotfl:I have nothing better to do!!!!

have a great time0 -
I went to Sharm all inclusive - thought it was worth it for the amount you drink. Some hotels are a bit of a distance to nearest restaurant or shops - and we found what would take 20 minutes to walk here took so much longer there due to the heat. If all inclusive you know you can get your food and drink in hotel anyhow0
