Why have the photos been deleted?

I might be wrong but reading the posts above from those who saw the pictures suggests that the forks were mounted the correct way and the OP has deleted the photos to hide the fact they were wrong about the fitters in the Decathlon shop mounted the forks incorrectly. That seems the obvious reason why the photos would have been deleted after posting them and no further images posted.

You can see on their website that a number of their bikes have fork designs where the stansion brace is behind the fork sliders.

The B-Twin's seem to do it.

Their Flagship £2800 model shares this design.

One assumes that they would bother to get the build right for an expensive bike to be displayed on their website, and also that the OP isn't 'down' with the latest trends in MTB design.

It's quite clear when a fork is on backwards from the rake and offset of the front wheel. A bike is almost impossible to ride if it's set up that way around.

    You are wrong.

The reason the images were deleted was to protect the individuals as the store could have been identified.

The forks were incorrectly mounted, one of my images showed a row of the same model randomly showing dissimilarly fitted front forks.

If you failed to see the images which were available for several hours, don't comment as you are not in a position to do so.

Neither make assumptions nor jump to conclusions nev.

But the stores don't fit the forks, do they?

I may be wrong, but I thought all Decathlon bikes were delivered with just the pedals/handlebars needing fitting/adjustment.

I have no idea however if this is the case it may be a wider issue that needs a quality control review.

Could you edit them to mask any identifiers?

I saw the pictures before they were deleted. Both had the brake bosses pointing forward. The forks were fitted correctly.

Or the same model with different forks. You took the above picture. Are the forks at the front of the picture fitted correctly or incorrectly?.
