Sounds good unless your paying twice the price the holiday would cost in the first place (many reports that easyjet have almost doubled the price of some holidays before this promotion!!!!)

I would have been happy for this one to work - it accepted the code and I went right through to putting in my card details THEN it said my hotel booking had timed out

What month is that for? If it's August I'd say that's a brilliant deal. However I don't think these holidays include transfers so you'll have to hire a car, although that's pretty cheap in Spain.

Yes, its for August......middle of August. I havent booked a car tho.......see, now I'm panicing about how I get to the hotel! :eek:

You're not the only one that's happened to. I suspect many if not most of us would be better off searching for deals on the internet that meet our requirements rather than us trying to fit into Easyjet's for the sake of a discount that we may not even get by the time we've clicked through the multitude of screens. 50% off an Easyjet price might sound like a good deal, but if you weren't planning to fly with them in the first place, chances are the difference in price & quality between them & another airline could actually make the discount not as great as it first appears. Hours spent on chasing a discount that may never appear doesn't sound like the best way to spend my time, but each to his own.

A taxi from Alicante airport into Benidorm will cost around 65 euros.

Resorthoppa, a2btransfers and shuttle direct all do coach transfers,you can book from their websites. I usually find a2btransfers are the cheapest at around £7 -£8 per person each way. Hope that helps, and well done on getting your deal. Oh yea, and pack lightly, it's hot here in August
