Missed call from four four two magazine

They spoke to my wife but wouldn't tell her what it was about and said they'd call back in an hour.

I wonder whether it's a "deal" on a magazine subscription or a competition win!

They`ve phoned me twice- Magazine subscription! One was an 0208 number, the other withheld.

I got phonecall too with "good news" about the competition I entered - I could now buy the next few issues for £1 each. Boo

I got one last week wanting to offer me cheap subscription for 442 mag. They must love winding people up at the start of the call by mentioning a competition that you entered.

Same got a phone call from them started talking about the competition I entered saying it lots of times making feel I was going to be told i'd won only to start going on about there mag and trying to get me to sign up, nicely told them i'm not interested.

Got same phone call today offering cheap subscription? Only problem I checked on line and it works out cheaper than price they were offering.:(

Yep - sales call. When I said I wasn't actually interested in football he reeled off a list of other mags that as a "runner up" I could have a special offer on! I politely declined.
