Any experience with Nottingham or Coventry Building societies for mortgages

Hi

We have just been to a Broker who has recommended deals with both Nottingham and Coventry which seem great. I haven't really heard about them or dealt with them before and when looking for reviews online only found old reviews from before 2010. I just wondered if anyone had any experience with them.

Our last Nottingham case was 37 days from application to offer.

Our last Coventry case was 10 days from application to offer.

Hi, we are going through CBS with a broker. Applied on the 11th Survey done on the 15th, went through on the 16th and been told today should have offer within five days.

CBS are a very efficient society and have good internal systems in place. I always found their service very good. Highly recommend them. They do seem strict in their criteria though, so as long as you meet those then happy days.
