Running a blog competition

I am thinking of running a blog competition to help gain followers/likers etc. I was planning on using rafflecopter which seems to be the normal way of running blog comps.
I wanted to give away gifts vouchers (probably Halfords) but was wondering what the rules were associated with this. Can I just buy them and give them away? Or do I have to let Halfords know or even ask permission?
Are there any other rules that may be obvious that I need to know about? Thanks

Unless you are buying vouchers at a discount why not offer cash via paypal as a prize?0

There actually are loads of things that need to be considered when running a blog comp!! I would highly recommemd a read over 'the do'd and dont's of blog giveaways' written by Di Coke from Superlucky. I was lucky enough to go to her talk at Brit Mums and she gave so much advice that the novice may not know but unwillingly get in a lot of trouble for. However dont be put off, just make sure you have yourself covered!
