Good Morning
I am running round in circles trying to find a decent laser colour printer. Each time I think I have found one the toner prices put me off and I start again.
I am wondering which brands are more reliable - samsung, Lexmark, HP etc.
Any advice?
Many thanks

Hi again
Thank you for your replies, we wanted colour but have now realised it would be too expensive to buy toner cartridges so have decided to go for black only.0 -
You can often get toner refills which can reduce the cost quite considerably. It might be worth you checking what toner refills are available and what difference that would make to the running costs.
Some manufacturers do try and prevent toner refilling so you need to check for that.
You also need to factor into the equation the cost of a new photoconductor unit which can be the largest part of the running costs. The one for mine is very expensive, costing more than I paid for the laser itself, although I did get it for considerably less than the RRP.
A duplex colour laser can be purchased for under £100 so even if you buy another when the photoconductor unit needs replacing, then it might not work out too expensive if you can refill the toners.0 -
For what it is worth, a charity of which I am a trustee is currently selling its high-quality colour laser printer, including some toner. The charity is Devon Development Education Centre.0
