My daughter is on DLA due to a degenerative condition (medicals to say she will never work again) and has applied with her partner for a mortgage - but lenders say that must have a letter from Benefits saying the benefit is for life which the benefits people tell us they can't do this under the new regulation - does anyone know of a solution to this impass?
