Mortgage application with excellent credit rating but.......

I am just about to apply for a joint mortgage with my husband for a relatively small amount (£70k)
I have an excellent credit rating, no debts and a good capital (in my name) We both earn a good income. My husband also has a good capital.
However, due to holidays and car crisis over the last couple of months I have dipped into my overdraft. Will this affect the decision to grant us a decision on whether to have a mortgage? I know banks need to look at the last 3 months of statements.
I should have moved money from accounts before going into overdraft but didn't. A house we like has suddenly come up but other than that we weren't expecting to move in the next few months.

I doubt this would cause a bank to deny you your mortgage although I would deter from doing it now as it may seem as though you live beyond your means.0

I had been fully into my overdraft for 6 months and natwest accepted it no problem0

Some lenders ask for no bank statements, others only a month.
Using an agreed overdraft now and again is completely normal and acceptable. Reliance on it for everyday living is frowned upon by some lenders.I am a mortgage broker.
