be careful IA - my cousin got stung with one of those interest free deals..like Karmacat says think of it as 11 months, because they will not remind you and one day over the due date you will be landed with all the interest.

congratulations on the job. I'm sure it will do wonders for you to get back out in the "real world" and it will make looking for another job much easier when you have a recent job to put on your CV.

Well seeing as I ordered £200 worth of clothes from ASOS last night I can't really have a moan at you can I? The worst bit is I left the page open and now I've seen another couple of things I like...

I'm going to the Hoosiers album launch party on thursday night and despite having more clothes than is polite I still have nothing to wear. The telly looks a bit like mine, I bet you can't wait.

Set the debit up to pay direct from your bank account now, and put a reminder in your phone for every day for a week at the 11 month mark and well just make absolutely sure you pay the damn thing off.

That's a crazy price for a tv though.

Mind you you can get a further % off by sticking the money towards it in a high interest savings account asap.

Well done on the job, and the new telly (very pretty isnt it :D )

No need for pitchforks - we all deserve a treat occasionally
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

Seconded, they usually have a window of literally a few days in which you can pay - too early reject payment as with too late...
  • Well for anyone who's worried about us not paying off and getting lumped with the interest there's no need... YOU KNOW what I'm like so the tv will be the first thing paid off after the credit cards and give us 3 months and it'll be gone so don't worry... or at least the money in an ISA ready to pay..

We're taking advantage of them.. not the other way around ;)

oh and first on the list after that will be a nice shiny new 5 string bass for ME. :)

  • Morning all.. guess it's time for a slight confession...:rotfl:
Ste's ordered a new tv. ON credit..

Surely even 0% credit has to be added to the sig... just to remind us it's there...

Can you upload photos on it - I like the idea of seeing what the kids reaction is to giant pictures of themselves or mum and dad or Lewis.... I wouldn't want to meet a real toddler Ashli with a 42inch head though... sounds a bit scary
