I'm going to keep mine but not spend on it and it can be the 'emergency card'.
Bloody vanquis... :rotfl:
IA, sound's like a good idea so long as you save the petrol money and pay it off in full or set a DD up to take the full amount owed each month! if not your soon see the amount going up. and your be adding to you sig again..........

Have found a use for my vanquis card.. I've just done something through quidco.... joined up with betfair for £25 cashback.. deposited £10 to meet the requirements but because it took 15p off me for the card fee i had to deposit another £10 so I could meet the wager requirements... d'oh! Oh well we'll still get the money back and have used the vanquis card. Have bet on arsenal to beat west ham at odds of 1.86 so if arsenal win we'll get £16.75 profit plus our £19.70 back. Sounds a certainty to me..
Will pay off the vanquis card as soon as the bill comes in as the money will be made up from quidco anyway...
does that sound like a good plan to everyone? Use my card for quidco stuff but still pay it off at the end of the month?Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Sounds good but why don't you try and learn how to matched bet rather than 'mug punting' - the Barclaycard would be gone in a few weeks if you could get the hang of it! (I'm trying to work it all out at the moment too)"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

IA I think (not sure) but if you use your CC for gambling sites it's now classed as a cash advance and you get charged.Trying to sort my life out, and I'm going to get there!0

Hi IA, about the Alliance and Leicester accounts on Quidco, I opened the account in June I think and I've transferred maybe £300 to it which I've used for shopping.
I did select NO OVERDRAFT though, maybe this makes a difference to how strict they are about the salary thing?
I got paid the cashback last month. Free money0 -

I think cash advances rack up interest from the day of the cash advance not the billing date so if billing doesn't come through for best part of 6weeks or somehting like that you may want to pay it off early...0
