Oooh and well done with Citi too :p

Are you gonna close Citi down now? Once you have closed it, have u thought about looking for another 0% card to get rid of some of the barclaycard?

    Well done

I don't often post but I do read your thread and can remember not so long ago there was a lot more stuff in your signature, congratulations.

Instead of saving up the full amount to pay off Barclays why not set small targets like say £200, everytime you hit this amount you pay a chunk off. Then you don't get overwhelmed by the size and you get a lot of mini celebrations leading up to one big one.

If you are going to buy the thing, could you save up but buy it on Citi and pay off immediately without interest, that way you'd get the benefit of the extra year's warranty (so 2 rather than 1) that citi offer, but pay them no money for the privilege and get one over on them. Avoiding ring of three flaming red doodahs. ?
