Can I transfer Nationwide application fee to a different product?

Options
I was in the middle of remortgaging to Nationwide, I was going for a 5 year fixed rate and a 6 year term, and I had paid £99 application fee and arranged a valuation. There are legal fees but if I complete on the mortgage they will give me £250 cashback to cover those costs. They haven't confirmed they will remortgage my house yet, it is still at the application stage.

I have received an inheritance which was much larger than I expected. The person who left it to me wanted me to spend it on my house but I hadn't even thought to include it in my remortgaging calculations because I didn't think it was going to be very much and I also thought these things can take years to come through. It now seems to me that what I actually need is a 3 year fixed rate and a 4 year mortgage term (because I like to make overpayments so I don't want the fixed rate to run right until the end).

I don't necessarily expect anyone to know the answer to this but am asking just in case... Is Nationwide likely to let me transfer my product fee/valuation fee/legal fees to a new product with them? I know it sounds stingy, especially after I've just benefitted from someone else's generosity, but I don't want to pay twice if I can help it...

(I will be asking Nationwide as soon as I can but I'm away on business and won't be able to telephone during working hours for a couple of days so I thought I'd see what you all think!)
