Pork ribs help please?

I bought some huge pork ribs from the market and cooked a rack for dh and I the other day. He is very funny with pork and said they taste 'smeggy' and he doesn't like them.
I have three more ribs to use up and I'm wondering if I can do anything with them to disguise what they are and try pull the wool over his eyes. The kids don't eat them and they're far too big for me to eat alone.
I thought I could maybe cook them in the slow cooker, to make the meat fall off the bones, would this work?
I could then use some in a stir fry maybe? Any other suggestions, or techniques?

I would marinade and slow cook then so the meat falls off the bone, maybe try BBQ pulled pork?0 -
Oooh good idea, I didn't think of that one!
Loads of bbq sauce will definitely mask the taste for himMummy to ds 29/12/06 dd 10/2/08 ds 25/5/11:Amy angel born too soon 18/11/12, always with me Emmie Faith:A15 projects in 2015 10/15completed0 -
I did some Cola ribs the other month for a BBQ. They tasted quite different to BBQ ribs, so could be worth a try

Cooked in the slow cooker, they go very tender - though it makes a big difference if you remove the membrane off the ribs first

Cook slow, remove meat, and stick it in a curry

Trust me, you don't want to know!
The word derives from 'smegma', which is an entirely unpleasant bodily substance...
I'm guessing he was just using the word as a slang term to mean 'unpleasant or horrible' though! The word 'smeg' was used in Red Dwarf as a generic swear word replacement to avoid censorship, and I guess some people use it in the same way in normal speech.Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0
