Does anyone have any ideas of who to apply to for a mortgage for those over 68. It seems to be very difficult - thanks

A little more information might help. It is fairly straightforward if you can provide proof of affordability and term not too long - otherwise lifetime mortgage maybe the only option.

    Lifetime or residential mortgage?
    Single/joint application (DOBs?)
    Property value?
    Borrowing required
Income(s) and source of? Self-employed, employed, private pension etc.
    Term? How many years?
Any other financial commitments? Bank or car loans, credit card balances etc.
