Shameless misery post, plus advice needed

I can't believe it, it's my wedding anniversary today and my mum has been asking me for weeks what we want and shes just rung and told me as I've not told her what to get she's put some money in my account to go towards the car. Just checked my account and she's deposited £500! I could cry!!

congrats - mothers what are they like.....

i was going to suggest - car boots - even without a car you could perhaps have done one with some one else and shared the pitch fee.

Although if my mum knew the extent of debt I've been in in the past I'm not sure she'd be as generous with the money :eek: luckily we've dragged ourselves out of the debt pit and can almost see daylight!
