Craft ideas

Hi all

I am interested in getting into something craft-like to hopefully sell on to friends and family. Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do?

I suppose it would be better to say the things that I don't think would be worth while:
Cards
Jute bags
glitter glasses/bottles

Anything else?

My mum does well with her cards! I have a couple of friends who make their own jewellery, which they find very enjoyable and popular with "customers". Here's one of my friends' sites (the loom bands are her son's!): https://www.facebook.com/#!/DayDreamingDaisy

Lots of good sites for buying bits online (my mum uses charms and beads for some of her cardmaking too): http://www.creativebeadcraft.co.uk/metal-beads-pendants-and-bells.asp

Good luck! Hope you enjoy an arty future! :)
  • your friends stuff looks fab! I'll defo be having a look into that.

What I should have said was that there wouldn't be much in it for me to do the other ones as my friends already do those and they are very successful in what they have done so far. I'd like to do something that could then be recommended on to customers of that they have managed to build up already.

I'll keep scouring the web and see what else I find.

    Thanks x
