How much are my shares worth?
Shocky
I was given some company shares 3 years ago and I would like to know how much they will be worth. Given that I know nothing about shares any help would be appreciated thanks.
I was given 500 shares valued at 445pence a share. The exercise date is July 2015 which I guess is the date I can exchange for cash if I'm correct?

Its Majestic Wine.0 -
Then just do a google search for "Majestic Wine share price"
Looks like if you sold them today you would get around 392p, and if you wanted to buy some they would cost you around 399p.0 -
So I assume if I sold all 500 then I would multiply 500 * current share price and that's figure I would get?0

Yes but share prices can go up or down very quickly, so don't bank on exact figure. Share prices available for free on the internet are usually delayed around 15 minutes, and the price can change dramatically in 15 minutes.
As an example, look at the chart on this page and see how quickly the price dropped in late March.
