Just wanted to say a quick 'thank you' to you all...

Hello,

I am a newbie and I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the advice given to me so far. I have just tried my first ever home made (baked bean) lasagne which was indeed very cheap and very easy to make and it tasted delicious! For breakfast my son and I had some of our damson, crab apple and blackberry jam that was also a first for us - again cheap and easy to make and delicious to taste (I actually caught my son eating it straight out of the jar all the while professing that he hates jam!). Most of all it has made some special memories for my son and I as we had in his words, 'an awfully big adventure,' making them. These are just a few examples of the advice that I have received and so thank you and bless you x

This forum is indeed a wealth of knowledge and skills, and I too have picked up some useful hints and recipes. Home made jam is always nice, especially if you have gathered the fruit for free. You also know there are no artificial additives in it.
