Weekly Spend Challenge W/C 17 August 2014

  • Just spent £2 on a new can opener and £3 on a pizza tray, leaving me with £10.75 to last till Friday evening. Not bad, considering there'll be no swimming this week as everybody is feeling under the weather

In our house, when things break, we just pretend they still work
  • I've ballsed up. I forgot I need £15 to take daughter out for lunch tomorrow (dinner is covered under a different budget)
So I'm going to be £5 over budget by the week's end.

    Oops.
My own fault. The can opener and oven tray could have waited but I completely forgot about lunch tomorrow. Rookie error.

    Ouch.

Some celebration if GCSE results were required so I don't really mind, but still,

I'm out of the challenge for a week to recover :o
