    FWIW I read it as a Santander employee error as the advisor was Santander branch-based.

    Could be wrong though.

    Why? Like I said, there's good and bad everywhere...

    If you do a good job despite all your employer's efforts to make the rest of the industry think you aren't capable of doing that, just keep telling yourself they are in the seat opposite you because you are better than the rest.

    There are plenty of brokers who have all the advantages, such as whole market for mortgages and protection etc who are complete kN0Bs.

    No. Because in-house advisors are restricted to offering a limited range of products so do not have the flexibility to select the most appropriate (or possibly any) product for certain client circumstances.
