I done a C & C order today. I refused some subs, which I have never done before.
When they take the payment do they take the full amount and then refund the amount of the returned items.
Thanks in advance

In all honesty, instead of a log splitter like that, you would probably be better off spending a tenner and getting a big maul. Aldi sometimes have these on offer too.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

I rarely refuse as the replacement is usually of higher value than the original item. I do refuse when they have replaced with something highly illogical0 -
Oh look at that:
Bin Buddy Citrus Kitchen Bin Freshener (550g)
£1.48 at
26.9p/100g
Add to basket
Price Comparison
A £1.48
M £2.49
Was £1.24 in M last week - now going up in price. APG would have worked out at about £1.12. A now down in price and people end up paying 36p more on this single item. Of course A will be more than 10% cheaper soon. These may briefly work tomorrow morning (not Northern Ireland checks), but starting to be a big risk as new price collection threatens to be updated into system. If you want/need to go for it this time, then vs M with urgency, assuming they picked up the £1.24 on the price collection on Wednesday last week.0
