Sue the fact they are unworn and sheepskin regardless of make that was a bargain as you could not get a pair in Primarni for that price;)enjoy.
Its so nice to hear about all the things we Elite aquire and i am not talking glitches.
Jellys freezer,QOC greenhouse and lots of other useful things people mention, this is the reason I love this thread:A

I love hearing about other people's thrift shop treats.

I go in with a list of things I really need - a target list.

Today I got a winter coat - nothing very special just a FF one but its 2 redeeming features are is that its a big size so good for winter when I have 6 layers on underneath so it makes me look more elegant and less like a sack tied in the middle. It's also bright mustard colour - nice cheery colour :) £7.95

Also rose gold sandals with kitten heels ideal for trying to glide serenely in a straight line in a force nine gale across the bay of Biscay. These were new and still had there £25 marks sticker on. I've had marks gold sandals for years, ideal under posh evening frocks and I've been looking for another pair before I wear the first pair out altogether.
    £4.25

    Evening,
For those with green beans, beans and more beans, here is a good recipe to use up 4 double handfuls. Just had this again tonight, heavenly.
This is usually cooked in a potjiie pot (bit like a cauldron) over coals but works in a slow cooker.
Green Bean Potjie. (this makes a lot but it is equally nice, if not better, heated up)
1kg minced beef ( tonight I used t’s finest burgers from the freezer and some turkey mince I found at the bottom)
4 double handfuls of sliced green beans
    4 chopped onions.
    packet of bacon, chopped
2 handfuls of grated cheese (I don’t always bother with this)
1 cup light soy sauce (can use less)
    Gravy granules
Quite a few diced peeled potatoes
Pepper, salt isn’t needed as soy sauce is salty enough.

In a frying pan brown mince & bacon, add onions and brown. Put in slow cooker.
Place potatoes & green beans in layers on mince, add soy sauce, do not stir.
Switch slow cooker on to a long setting of over 6 hours.
When potatoes are done add some gravy granules mixed with ½ cup water, add grated cheese and pour into SC, cook for another hour or so. It’s difficult to judge how much bisto to use as it depends how much liquid there is in the pot but the rice soaks up any excess liquid.
Mix well before serving with rice and crusty bread. :)

I posted this last night zippy but think got missed.
Personally I think it is a great way to kick of the Triennial for the artistic quarter.
Our last Triennial included lots of yarn bombing and the ladies were invited to decorate for the Rugby world cup in New Zealand. There was also the mermaid statue commissioned which looks over the bit of harbor where the gold is buried.

Down side of the gold is nowhere to park down sea front but if anyone does go down the seafood stall by the fountain is a must for their chilli pawns with noodles.
Gold was buried within the harbour walls which is only part dogs are allowed. Really would not want to be digging around in there:eek:
