I was emailed last week to say that I'd been accepted to join the Royal Mail surveys and they were preparing a sender pack for me. Today I have received a piece of card with a 4 letter code and a letter asking me to enter some receipt information onto "our website"
Nothing else. There's no instructions, no website details etc and I have no log in details.
I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with it.
Any one one here doing these surveys?
Thank x

you have probably had one slip through before your official stuff comes.
That reminds me I have a couple to enter.
Tough couple of days in bedford but we have at least got a vague idea of dads wishes. He will let us know when he feels he can nolonger manage alone. (Alone is with my sister doing his shopping and calling in at lunch and teatime)
He has indicated that at that point he would be happy to go somewhere with a well rounded care package. District nurse visited today after prompting from peps but dad was alone so we do not know what was said. At least he let her in the house.

As a result I find myself avoiding people related situations as much as is practical. I also find myself being "too nice" and agreeing to things I don't want to do. An example of this is that I've just agreed to pick up my stepson when he stays with us every other weekend. OH doesn't want to do it because he says he's too tired after driving home from work and now he's got a new job where he's finishing later (5:30). Previously his mum was picking stepson up but she doesn't want to do it anymore due to animosity with stepsons mum who is trying to turn kids against this side of the family so MIL got a dirty look off her grandaughter last time and is fed up of being kept waiting so she doesn't want to do it anymore. I've agreed to do now for some reason, probably because I felt sorry for OH about his stress but thinking about it I will only finish work half an hour before him when I start my new job and I don't even like the kid! Irritating spoilt brat he is
I hope you don't mind me commenting on this. What I'm about to say is meant as helpful and constructive.
Do you think this situation might be improved if you all stopped treating this child like he is an inconvenience? I know that's just life but......too tired to pick him up, doesn't want to be kept waiting etc. I don't know what age this child is but I can guarantee you he will be picking up on the negativity surrounding him.
I know only too well what a hostile situation it can be with marriage break ups, step children etc and I know it's not easy at all. You might find this child's behaviour improves if you all start putting him first when it's his time to be with you. He never asked to be in the situation he is in after all.
I was in a very similar situation as a teenager and it still affects me to this day. That's why Ive said what I have. It's all too easy for grown ups to get wrapped up in their own battles and forget how the kids feel
I hope you don't take offence, there's none meant.0 -

Night WH. Things WILL improve for your son. Half the battle is staying positive in the face of rejection. My mate recently got rejected for a job she thought was perfect for her. She was really upset. But then she was offered an even better position at the same place, with more money, that suited her better.

I'm not.
I'd like to think that DS will be able to live with his dad in the UK at some point in the future, probably be a bit difficult under UKIP what with OH being a Johnny Foreigner i.e. 2nd class citizen. Also DS not having 100% British parentage could possibly cause him problems in the future. Also UKIPs previous/current/who knows? stance on maternity pay, equal pay etc doesn't sit well with me (as a woman)
But like you say it is political so best not to go into it really0
