The S/P vs Savers Pork Luncheon Meat has gone N/A in the past (hmmm...) even at times when I've clearly had it at 75p throughout in my M stores. I've seen wombles in the last day or so where it is comparing 75p vs 75p M. Yesterday in Wrexham, I had the Pork Luncheon Meat with a SEL that said only "Priced", however there was no price on any of the products. It would go to N/A if that information was taken into the APG. It depends whether they have 75p in other stores they have checked. The situation from yesterday may (or may not) explain the previous N/As on this product. It has gone on and off N/A - when it was N/A previously it was not as if the product had not been picked up at 75p for M before. I had, even before that N/A, seen it on the APG as comparing to the Morries price.
Meanwhile, based on the Wrexham store, the S/P Chicken Roll would be hanging by a thread as to comparing! There was a SEL present but the product was entirely OOS. Wrexham is not the only place where the APG gets its prices from (if indeed its prices were got at all from Wrexham yesterday) and other Ms that they check would extremely likely, I'm sure, have the Savers Chicken Roll in stock. If we were only using the Wrexham store, then we are very glad that the SEL was left there. On the basis of the no stock but the £1.00 SEL it hangs by the thread of that SEL and would be given £1.00 as the M price to compare to. If I were the APG price collector, which I am not:(.
:rotfl:
EDIT: Additional afterthought: Separately, I have the thread of the 28p RTC SEL in one of my own Morries last time and a couple of times before on the Dental Tape that T were comparing their Floss against. I'm sure they don't use my stores!:rotfl: I'm afraid that, from Wrexham yesterday - and T very probably don't use Wrexham either - there's no errant SEL there and no Dental Tape - I can find no stock of M Dental Tape in any M store anymore. I think this is going to go N/A, if it has not already done so. If I find no stock next time, even if a likely 'errant' SEL is still up, I'll be removing it entirely from my lists. HTH.
(Of course, T will probably pick it up immediately after I've done that, just like they did on the 5p Savers tomato pasta - (sigh), I can only go by what I find in the M stores I check.)0 -

Ooo... Maris Piper Potatoes 2.5Kg bags (I'm getting close to the plums btw:rotfl:) showing straight 99p on msm and m.com. (Still a fairly good price, but
.)
But...they were clearly 3 for £2 instore on Wednesday! So, they should still work on the APG (but not Northern Ireland:() until Tuesday morning!:) Let's hope, hopefully, they have the mbuy well and picked up as they did last week.M's increasing price for weekend shoppers I suspect.
My list remains 'frozen' - and my message is don't rely on msm.co.uk, perhaps as regards any new offers that might just have gone on in M along with the potatoes going off their previous offer. Msm will update now to Thursday and Friday, and so on, Morries prices and, if there are any half prices or anything like that going on for the weekend*, they will not be reflected in the APG. The APG, like me:D, is stuck on Wednesday pricing:T (assuming it's even updated to that, from Tuesday's, yet). No more price collections due till Monday. T however may well have had a price collection on Thursday (or may have one today (Friday)).
*There is clearly one price change, against our favour, there, on the potatoes, assuming the online information on m.com hasn't glitched - don't be excited, it's a glitch against us if so, whereby we cannot tell what the price in M stores actually is.0 -

And eventually, finally, finally, at last, finally I reach the plums post!:j:j (Never going to be written as well as I imagined though:(.)
May be a 'fwiw' given that it now seems the Maris Piper Potatoes mix and match is off in M, and with it, the option of mixing in the plums in M. (I've updated the 'buy in M' list, or rather the 'no longer buy in M' on these.)
Msm.co.uk had had the M Yellow Plums 400g as being in the mix and match, but they were never in the offer as far as I'm aware. From store, I had had the Red Plums as being in the offer. It was with the Maris Piper Potatoes, and other items, but the A Plums 400g had returned N/A for M, thus very much seeming to put paid to any chance of mixing and matching in A with the Potatoes and picking up the (now apparently expired) M offer.
I think I have the answer, or an answer, as to why, from Wrexham!
First however I note an apparent change on msm for the products stocked in Mr A. We now have two items (we've now moved on and forgotten any Yellow Plums;)) on msm:
ASDA British Plums (400g)
£1.00 at
£2.50/Kg
Add to basket
Price Comparison*
A £1.00
T £1.00
S £1.00
W £2.00
O £2.00
M 99p **
Aldi N/A
ASDA Plums (400g)
75p at
£1.88/Kg
Add to basket
Price Comparison*
A 75p
T £1.00
S £1.00
W £2.00
O £2.00
M 99p **
Aldi N/A
Earlier, in the last few hours, we saw this vs M:
1 x ASDA British Plums (400g)£1.00 N/A
On a womble somewhat earlier, I had the 75p plums:
1 x ASDA Plums (400g)£0.75 N/A
So, both N/A vs M. At least, we know now, as of latest, the British Plums are returning N/A (unless this was the Tuesday price collection result) - the ASDA Plums (75p) may still return N/A, they did so about a week ago.
But why?
I think I may have an explanation, from Wrexham. (I wouldn't pay any attention to the 'OOS' marking for M on msm.co.uk on either of these, btw, as that is from m.com which items may disappear from and return to even if they are still in stock in Morries and the 99ps here may be linking to the Yellow Plums, although I have not checked whether they are or are not on msm.)
In Wrexham Morries on Wednesday, then on the mix and match with the Potatoes, I found they had not got 400g punnets of plums but instead they were 1 kilogram punnets!! Woopy-doo, buy in M!:j (Except that the offer now appears to be off:(.)
There were some 400g Plums that I found elsewhere in the store, right at the front, these were in a section marked 99p. Just plain 99p and not 3 for £2. We are lucky on this, that the A Plums (400g), at 75p, did not return 75p vs 99p!
However, in the 400g plums packs in M (Wrexham), the plums appeared to be a quite different colour and they were therefore a different variety:idea: (Victoria, Kent) to what appears to be red plums in A (whether British Plums 400g or Plums 400g). This may well explain why the 400g plums (we now have the British Plums 400g and, earlier, had the A Plums 400g) are returning N/A. The 1Kg plums were in the offer in M Wrexham, which would not have picked up a multibuy on the APG from A - this (huge) size is not sold by A - at least it's not on a.com (such that it would appear on msm.co.uk).
In my M stores, I have 400g Plums - they were in the 3 for £2 offer and they are red plums. But they don't appear to have 400g Red Plums in M in Wrexham (which may be one of the price collection stores - perhaps those stores change to other ones from time to time?).
So there we are - I'm not expecting the British Plums 400g or the Plums 400g to compare vs M (and that would be to M Plums 400g at straight 99p, namely the different variety/colour ones that were straight 99p in Wrexham on Wednesday, still less to the 99p/any 3 for £2 (now probably straight 99p) M Plums 400g that were in stores nearer to me on the last Tuesday check date, it being Bank Holiday for many and the check date changed from Monday to Tuesday). That said, I wouldn't risk using the 75p A Plums on an M comp., in case they did go 75p vs 99p, besides the fact that 75p is way too expensive for me:rotfl::rotfl:.
At last, I got there!! Of sorts - even though the offer in question now appears it may be over:(:(. Typical!:rotfl: (In any event, you'll note the 400g plums never made it to my Avs M list:D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:, and didn't appear on buy in M either until they turned out, in one store, to be 1Kg:rotfl:. Savvy - so correct again:p:rotfl::rotfl:.)
I will be trying 3x Maris Piper in A later, probably on Sunday when we'll need to stock up. Last chance maybe:D:eek: ( as in 'what if the price collectors didn't pick up the mbuy on Wednesday?'. But I thought this was a calculated risk as it seemed last time that, even if it had failed (which it didn't:j:beer:) it would be more likely to pick up each at straight 99p price which wasn't that bad). I'll have another go on Sunday probably. I like the danger a bit:eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
Okay, all done, I think I've mentioned everything (), if I haven't mentioned it in separate posts, I've mentioned it on the M list. Goodnight!:)
PS: I'm sure you'll know - and you don't need me to be telling you:o, but if you want to find out all else I've written - you just need to click on my username and search my posts;);):rotfl::).:A
:eek:How can you write possibly eight paragraphs on plums?!?:rotfl::rotfl:
