To be fair they are notoriously slow. I left my prescription and the woman behind the counter told me it would be 10 mins. When I got outside I (stupidly) said to DS2 'Oh well that means at least half an hour then'. We went in a few shops and returned to the chemist 30 minutes later (he was timing us). waiting in the queue DS2 was intently studying a poster that said
'our average time for dispensing a prescription last week was 6 minutes'
When the woman told me my prescription still wasn't ready. DS2 said (loudly) 'Not ready? You told my mum it would be 10 minutes and it's over 3 times that long' then he turns to me and says 'you were right mum she really did mean half an hour, how dishonest is that?'
 Not finished at that he then read the exact wording on the 6 minutes poster to her and said 'and if that poster was put up by you, you should change it to 18 minutes, you can't just triple time when it suits you'
No doubt he'd have said something to her anyway, but without implicating me in it
That's another place on the list I'll be steering clear of for a while
Quite right - I bet everyone else in the chemist was thinking the same and secretly wanted to give him a cheer :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. if you stab them a few times with a skewer when they are half cooked the extra oil drains through so not so oily and slightly less calories..0
