Remember to leave some sticks in, as the plan gets some of next years strength from the sun via the leaves.

What about a nice blackberry and apple crumble, or they go nice in a fruit compote. (Or soak for a few month with sugar and a bottle of cheap brandy, tastes like neat ribena )

Decorating again:( our bedroom this time. Got to get it done so they can come and fit the last of the carpets. I'll be so glad when it's finished. I hate living in a muddle.

I popped into B&Q last night to buy some paint, and had a browse round the last of the sale stuff. I found a really nice heavy glass table lamp base, which should have had a cream pleated shade with it. I opened the box to check it was complete, and there was no lampshade.:( The sticker had 'complete' on it, so I took it to the checkout and asked if they would reduce it further(it was £15) as the shade was missing. The lad on the till phoned the manager who said no, no further reduction. The lad said 'but it says complete on the box, and it's not complete'. The manager told him to give me a cream pleated shade from the lampshade shelf. He came back with a lovely one which I took happily. :j It was nearly £25 on the ticket:eek:
I was a bit worried afterwards that he might get into trouble, but he didn't scan the lampshade, just put it in the box with the base, so there will be no record of it on the till, just the £15 for the box he scanned.:cool:
Off to bed for me now, once I've removed all the stuff piled on the bed, and moved the furniture back against the walls, away from the bed, so we can actually get into it.:D
