    And good afternoon Sal!:)

    Good afternoon Savvy

One of my favourite snacks is sardines on toast. The one in oil.The cat meat is for cashback as well.

Hardly any wombling going on this end because I'm going on holiday soon and had a lot to use up.So I have restrained myself a bit.I notice you have made up for my shortage though.:D.

Rain is chucking it down today and I'm getting to old to womble in the rain:rotfl:

    Mmmm...:)

My A stores just a short while ago - really really busy and people doing full weekly shops today:T: I think bigger shops are often better wombles as they tend to add up more 10% and give returns if competitors aren't significantly more expensive on several items in the shop. The smaller shops, if they offer an APG at all, tend to be just 10p 10% on a couple of items and other items N/A so don't add up to much, unless they buy a particular specific expensive item that happens to be a lot cheaper elsewhere!

I wondered why the wombles weren't that many early this week, may have helped us find more M glitches but then again you did suspect this may have been the Monday price collection! Hope you have a really nice time on your holidays - looks like you've picked the right time to go (assuming you're not staying in England/Wales!:rotfl:):D.

Not that this is any good:( but, fwiw, these do compare vs Morries (everywhere else N/A) for a very minor positive contribution towards the APG:

1 x ASDA Ready to Eat Roast Chicken Thighs (540g)£3.00£3.24

That was from a receipt where everything not 10% cheaper than Sainsbobs!:j:j:T:D:beer: Sainsbobs wasn't the best price to compare to on all the items that compared vs Sainsbobs - they got some bread that, at least it didn't compare to way more expensive, but I noticed it was a very expensive half-size bread:( (400g) that they bought!:rotfl: 79p is real expensive for those. Sadly nothing else worthy of reporting from the receipt, and no glitches:((:rotfl::rotfl:).
  • Afternoon all, about to start building my ark! Makes me feel so British with a bank holiday like this! Some results from OH's muggle shop where M's was surprisingly cheaper on a few things.

    1 x ASDA Lemons Loose £0.35 £0.25
    1 x ASDA Egg Noodles Medium (500g) £1.78 N/A
    1 x ASDA Cucumber Portion £0.35 £0.25
    1 x ASDA Red Chillies (50g) £0.50 N/A
    1 x ASDA Butcher's Selection Beef Mince - 20% Fat (500... £1.99 £1.99
    1 x ASDA Tiger Chest Bread (800g) £1.00 £1.30
    1 x Princes Tuna Chunks in Sunflower Oil (4x160g) £3.00 £3.50
1 x ASDA Hero Adult Complete with Tasty Beef & Vegetab... £2.67 N/A
    1 x ASDA Honey Ham on the Bone (133g) £2.50 N/A
    1 x ASDA Napoli Salami (110g) £1.50 N/A
    1 x Galbani Dolcelatte Classico (150g) £2.00 £1.50

Unfortuantely OH's grumbling (he hates shopping meant I messed up my shop and I didn't have 8 things that showed on the receipt

Went to Cheltenh@m where there are plenty of the 10p Maxi toms. Also lots of Glade candles were reduced £5 to £1.50. Couldn't note them down to see if they compare on .com/ MSM - there are a few that are £2.50 in M's - maybe someone else can confirm which ones are reduced?

It's piddled it down here all day, so far I have had to fish little stink in from the garden where he was running around with no shoes on. I sent him upstairs to change his socks and trousers and with in 2 minutes he was back in the garden jumping on his trampoline so had to get changed completely again. I give up, I'm tempted to send him out in his swimming trunks :D

Now that's proper 'mum thinking' ... just swimming trunks and wellies:rotfl:

    No surprise at all:laugh::rotfl::rotfl:.

Cucumber Portion, in retrospect, may be good to compare vs M, if whoopsied ones unavailable for example, as 'portion' cucumbers can be rather more than half the size of whole ones.

    A single lemon at 25p (or 10% off 25p)?

Packs of lemons can cost less than £1, and they contain more than 4 lemons.
At the moment it looks like I'd go for:
Morrisons Lemons (6) in M itself at 99p. Maybe that should be added to the M list:think: - yes, it should, and it will be now! (Watch it rise in price tomorrow:rotfl:.) A's S/P lemons pack appears to be quite low weight IMO and has seen increases in price (according to the msm price graph). Meanwhile, T's pack of "everyday" "value" lemons are utterly ridiculous IMO as a pack of only 3 at 89p:eek::eek: (avoid!). It doesn't provide value IMO, but a rip-off per lemon compared to what is available elsewhere and doesn't provide value on any single day yet alone "everyday" - so both words need quotes:p.
