In a human, Piriton acts as an anti-histamine. Histamine is produced by the body in allergic-type reactions. This can be in hayfever, dust allergies or even life threatening anaphylaxis. Histamine also causes itching. Piriton stops the formation of histamine.

I'm a doctor, not a vet; so couldn't possibly comment re: how it acts on dogs.

Brilliant stuff using the liquid form and syring on my boxer dog saved life on collsape due to eating wasps and head swollen to double the size she still eats wasps and flys and bees won't learn, also helped my other dog due to food allergys

    :hello: altojack

Hope you and your family are ok :)

Problem with estranged wife of ds2 :( can't say on here sorry

I'm very tired, didn't get much sleep past couple of nights. Had phone call 3.25am yesterday morning and been absent since. Will be good to get decent nights sleep sometime soon I hope

Hope to be able to see CBB Monday night, see who is in there and decide if I want to watch subsequent evenings
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
  • Blimey, pop out to a garden party, come home to find about 250 more posts! No way I can read those, there was a jolly good spread at the party and I have eaten more than I should have, would easily nod off if I start reading that lot!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
