Evening. Been missing for a couple of days so thought I'd say hello!

Had to go to London today for a hospital appointment. Normally get free train travel on London Midland trains, but line into Euston closed this weekend, so had to use a different line and pay for a ticket for once. :o

Took the opportunity to visit platform nine and three quarters at Kings Cross - not anywhere on a platform, and has official photographers and a huge queue. Waited about 40 minutes in the queue just so DD could put a slytherin scarf on and have a picture taken.

Met up with an old friend of my mothers which was nice, and she treated us to lunch at an Indian place that did an all you can eat vegetarian buffet (I'm veggie) for £6.95. Was delicious, and definitely a bargain place I would visit again (and its only round the corner from the hospital).

Anyway, knackered after my day out so going to retreat to the sofa for the evening!

Oh, and congrats to aau1. :)

Forgot to say thanks to OP for the 50p stars. Popped to A & bought 24. That is 2 visits to cinema for the 3 of us. Mostly used wombles to pay.

can someone quote a link to the op please.
