Neither of us can get the McDonalds ap on our phones - I don't know if its us being stupid or whether it is because we deleted the ap after the last promotion

I seem now to have a Spanish version :o

Delete that one and then download it again.

I typed Mcdonalds UK in the app store.

    Hope that helps

It does not seem to be very well advertised but B and Q have their 20 litre bags of compost reduced to £1 this weekend - our store did not have a SEL but it di not have much stock either

My home grown compost is not quite ready so its taking ages to sieve out anything of use out of the bottom and rescue the brandling worms to put back into the top again - so this is a good alternative.

Spring bulbs appearing all in loads of shops - nice selection in Morrisons, we got 50 white ones for £2 :T
They also have bags of 50 tulip bulbs for £3. We put 50 of these in last year and they were very good value, some early and some much later and some quite showy ones.
Ive got a few summer bedding pots starting to go over so I use these for bulbs.

125 litres of compost in b&q is only £6 so cheaper to buy that than the 20l bags

hope everyone ahs had a nice shopping day - my nearest cinema is about 20 miles away so sadly I am not joining in the sweetie fest :(

question 1 - we seem to have a mole, fortunately only one mole hill yet by the fence line, any idea how to deter them?

question 2 - the fox walks through quite often but leaves poo deposits on the back paddock - we don't mind him wandering through but how do we discourage him from leaving presents behind :D

or is the answer to both questions, build a bridge and get over it :rotfl:

    Evening paw sniffers,

Got back from a meeting in Penrith on Thursday evening to find that our internet was down and still is:mad:

We are being told that cabling has been ripped out from our nearest exchange but our neighbours are unaffected. Just don't understand. Perhaps the thieves chose just to rip out the Sky cables:rotfl:

So no phone and no broadband. Feel I've lost my right hand.

I know there's a meal deal but no idea what's in it, no idea what's happening anywhere and when I last posted on Wednesday night all was about to explode with chicken and coke:o

We are sat in a pub:o:)

Gonna attempt yo read back a bit

:hello:TM, you been there all day catching up ;)

A question for the Elite gardeners.

I had my strawberries in a huge oblong trough and Ive now emptied it, cleaned it out, rescued as many strawberries as I could so these are ready to go back in with some babies and new potting compost.

Could I put some spring bulbs in the bottom of this trough (under the strawberries) and if so which ones - I am thinking very early ones maybe but not sure which

Bulbs would be fine in your trough. I do this with my pots and things that have summer bulbs in so I have flowers right through spring and summer. If you want very early ones snowdrops or crocus seem to be what come out earliest for me.
