I think today is going to be full of minor annoyances, firstly the constant rain,

2ndly my rice payment for COS not showing on my balance (and probably COS not answering my message - never had a reply from them yet to any query)

3rdly I've just skipped up to the doctors for my 9 o'clock ap - fortunately the rain stopped long enough.

at 8.98 somebody decided they had a burning wish to buy a book I had listed on Amazon - if they had got their act together last night or even this morning as I've been up since 6.30 I could have got it wrapped and it would be in the postal system right now as the PO is only about 10 mins walk further from the doctors

worst still the buyer has paid for expedited delivery so I've got to check what time OH is back and if its late I've got to walk back up the road again, risking life and limb and getting soaked to get it in the post ASAP and ideally before midday as its a bank holiday weekend

so I printed off the invoice address sheet, muttering about having to take the study apart, twice in one week, to find this book which I am hoping is in the book chest, otherwise it will be a book hunt.

Then I noticed the address and its the same town as eldest child lives in - so on a normal week and if the buyer had got their act together the night before I could have wrapped the book, jumped on the train to London this morning (we have passes) met eldest child and gone for lunch, showered eldest child with goodies as a bribe and then she could have dropped the book off at the buyers house tonight on the way back from work :D

Well my basmati rice payment for COS still has not appeared

so its on a separate receipt so it should be easy to do a return except I paid with a gift voucher - not sure how they will do returns - maybe goods to the value?
Did you get "Receipt Received" email?
Once I had to upload my receipt twice as there was some glitch or maintenance going on at the time of the first upload...
Try anyway and it will at least tell you if the receipt has already been uploaded...

Good grief! It's expired already. What are they like on there. I wonder what games it's on. My last CC statement was a very sad state of affairs.

I think I'll nip to my local and check in a bit.
My points are looking rather lame so could do with a bit of bumping up :)

I got 6 bottles on Monday and the offer was on then - not sure if it still is - buy 6 bottles get 25% off.
Cheapest house wine in Marks is £5 a bottle
I got 6 bottles which were in the 2 for £12 range on the end of the aisle - again not sure if this offer is still on or not
so you get the 2 for £12 discount - £15 off and the buy 6 save 25% discount as well - should be £9 but my receipt looks weird - I only got £6.50 off
I used a GM and a mailing MOC

as for taste - nothing spectacular - I got 2 whites and 4 reds

Have you not found any of the £3 wine in As? I'm really surprised to still be finding it. It's not bad at all and I can't figure out why the shelves aren't empty. There's a few different ones but in particular the Stormhoek red and white and Arniston bay merlot. They also have turner road for £4 and Blossom hill ones for £3.50. All RTC
