    Its a common problem Sarah.

There are so many harness on the market, personally I would go for a Ruffwear harness that wont rub (either the Webmaster which I have used for over 10 years or the new Front Range harness that has a clip at the front as well as the back).

    http://dogblog.ruffwear.net/2014/07/29/new-products-explored-the-front-range-dog-harness/
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ruffwear-Webmaster-Harness-2012-Design/dp/B008AGO5ZC

Neither of these are specific stop pull harnesses, but I would highly recommend them for comfort and combine them with training as descibed in this book:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/My-Dog-Pulls-What-Do/dp/1929242239/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1408642153&sr=8-1&keywords=turid+rugaas

I know its really hard work when you have a chronic puller. It is hard work getting them out of the habit initially but in the long term you will both benefit.

I'm really glad you are using a harness as dogs can get terrible injuries from pulling on their collars including Horner's syndrome and Thyroid damage.

Good luck and sorry for any typos as I was on my way out but wanted to reply x

Edited to add: They aren't cheap, but they last forever so only a few pounds a year to avoid injury or vets bills is worth it in the long run x

Hi my last girl needed a halti,
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_5?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=halti%20headcollar&sprefix=halti%2Caps%2C296
it stopped the pulling but she didn't like it, I have an ezydog harness for my baby and it can be used with a car seat belt so double use.:)

Sarah one of ours thinks she is a husky I can not remember the name of the collar but we bought it from pets at home and it goes over their nose as well. When they pull it automatically makes their nose come to the side thus stopping pulling.
It worked on her instantly but over a few days she decided she would pull anyway :rotfl:
Might be worth a try I had heard those harnesses don't stop pulling they just give them a wider base to pull against shoulders/back

Thanks for the replies, on the harness, have been to puppy training tonight and again like you all, they have suggested a halti collar, so will have a look at getting one of those.
