  • Hey you guys, have any of you noticed this today.......

Ignore the coke zeros, all the others are 2 for £2.40 instore. Should hopefully compare v S & M, each 2 bottles £3.70 v £2, apg for £1.90 meaning with a bit of luck 25p per bottle.

Work commitments allowing, the results of my test shops will be posted in approximately 3 hours..:D:D

Probably not much use but I can see some of the McVities biscuits, for example - yes, me, after telling you to avoid all biscuits:rotfl::rotfl: - on msm at £1.00 and any 2 for £2.00 for A. Wondering what price they are instore?

I'm waiting to see if someone has chicken and yogurt working (what a combination:laugh:). If fruit & veg. offer is on again from tomorrow, that's much sooner than what I expected. If it is true though, it will alter my plans completely - I was going to buy the Maris Potatoes in A, once we ran out of potatoes again, but if that F&V offer is on, that does alter things:D. I haven't see any ad sorry:o:o.(:rotfl:)

    Afternoon all (missed the morning!).

Karlie, thanks for the heads up on the theory test, DS turns 17 in November so will benefit from reduced price.

Dipdap well done on passing credit check. Where about a you looking at houses? If you want any advice from a policing point of view for local area let me know! ;)

Evangelise well done on the new job.

Exciting news year, have booked next years holiday using avios points. Been waiting for work to agree the time off, finally got agreed today. Spent almost an hour on the phone sorting out flights, had to change route but got their in the end. Business class flights (well, it is for me both ways, kids got to take turns as they only release 2 business class tickets :D). Dublin to Boston, touring the states for almost 3 weeks, then home. :)

This is what we are now getting back to:D;). This was the same as what I was aiming at with the (probably failed) look at the biscuits.

Coke 1.75L (they have a 'full range') are £1.85 bogo'f' today in Morries and no differing individual prices - not sure if that helps. But target a shop that would work well against both M and S just in case (so no real cheaper items in M that would be offsetting and losing on a Sainsbobs comp.). Or, in N.I., just against S I'm afraid:(.
