Advice on mortgage for after we sell our property

Options
Hi,

We are putting our house on the market in the next month hopefully. We are hoping to sell for £110k, and we have paid off £60k off the mortgage.

To buy the next house, do we need a deposit again? Or will the mortgage being paid off count instead?

You'll have £50k (less the costs of selling) to put down as a deposit on your next property.
