Pension Assistance required

Hope you guys can give me a bit of assistance. I have a several pension pots, ranging from final salary pot that I stopped paying into in 1992, to Individual Stakeholder Pension Plan I am currently paying into. With my current employer I now started another pension this month. With bringing up a family, a number of them are fairly small as was only working part time etc.
How do I find out if its worth transfering some or all into one pot? I've probably got another 15 year to work.
Don't know much about IFA, but worried that the cost would outway any benefits.
Many thanks for any help in advance.

The deferred Final Salary is likely to be best left where it is.
What are the other pensions and what are the charges?
Do any of them have any form of guarantee?0 -
I've got a Scottish Widows Group Personal Pension Scheme (Catlin), which only had 13 months payments. A Maersk Pension and 2 with Scottish Hydro.
I've got no idea what charges are, or where to find this out.0 -
To find out the charges, get out your pension paperwork.
Or at least a statement with plan number and call each provider. ASk the current fund value, if there are any guarantees, and the charges for both the pension and the funds chosen, then add those together for the total charge.
then get back here0 -
Many thanks for your help. I'll get on to it.0
