You have absolutely no reason to feel guilty about not working with a company which takes advantage of people who are desperate and in debt.
Hold your head high and feel pleased that you're not lining the pockets of scumbags. What will your verse be?

Vics GP are vultures rubbing their hands together every time you pay them to do something the charities will do for free, so why are you scared?
Don't phone them write, send it signed for any tell them you are leaving them then you won't be bullied into staying with them.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -
Excellent advice about writing to them - recorded delivery - job done!:rotfl:0

Thank you and then with regards to the next step as I don't want to be behind per say either any payments to my creditors what would you recommend that I do next0

Tell them you are moving to a new DMP and provide the reference number.
Explain there may be a slight delay while it is set up and before the first payment is made.
Congratulations on using a free DMP provider like I did.0 -
I have just did the same with the same company, heres what i did
Phoned GP and told them i was leaving, she seemed awfully upset i was leaving, altogether now AWWWWWW
Phoned each of my creditors and told them I would no longer be using gregory pennington but in the meantime would make the same payment,
Worked out a new income and expenditure form and sent it to them and job done
Self administered DMP everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful0 -

This is an excellent example of what everyone considering a DMP should do.
Keep control over it yourself, the debt charities do an excellent job for lots of people, but this is so easy to do yourself, anyone with a little time, and common sense can do this, especially if you don't have that many creditors, but even if you do, its still sensible to stay in control of where your money goes.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Then do exactly as i did, phone gregory pennington and ask for them, In fact once I told them on the phone i was leaving the girl asked did i need any account numbers or anything, but i had already got them from a previous call
But if you really dont want to phone them just wait for the creditors to contact you, once gregory pennington inform them they arent dealing with them any more it wont be long until you hear from them0
