Hi,
Wondered if anyone could please advise, we have applied for a mortgage with the Dudley building soceity and have been given a AIP. Due to my bad credit it went through a packager.
The valuation fees have been debited (Thurs), the application was sent Tues. So is this all going through ok? Or would they take fees without completing full application and could still possibly decline?
Thankyou for any help!

The deduction of fees from a card bears no relation to the progress or potential of an application.I am a Mortgage Broker

Used Complete for a couple and weren't impressed, so did the last two with SMS.
Still find ourselves wondering what they "bring to the party" as every issue we ended up dealing with Dudley UW. TBH one applicant had been victim of ID fraud - recent PDL & default on an address he'd moved out of years earlier, so perhaps not a lot SMS could add.
App to offer was 23 days for one and 30 for the ID case.I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. You and I know, they bring access to the product. Nothing else.
We have used Complete, Brightstar, Atom, and Platinum Options in recent years.
Whenever we can we go direct to Lender as we find it easier.I am a Mortgage Broker

I use complete, Brightstar and Platinum too. I dont think they really bring much. If anything I tend to find more work is needed using a packager than going direct as they seem to dot every I and cross every T even if the underwriters do not need it for that case.
I do like brightstar though, I get the impression their people are on commission on completed cases so they tend to get things through without too much chasing.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
