Co-op Bank Accounts

I have had a Co-op Cashminder account since BR in March 2006 (discharged Nov 2006). I see from my credit files that they started reporting my info in March 2007 (which is a good thing of course).
Does anyone know how long it takes before they will upgrade the Cashminder account? I have asked Co-op staff a couple of times and got very different information.
Has anyone been upgraded by Co-op post-BR??
Thanks,

you BR will stay on your file for 6 years. The chances of getting upgraded in this time are very low.0

I think its preferable to try and open a brand new account rather than upgrade, as people seem to have had more success this way.BCSC Member 70:j
