Peugeot 308 warranty service

My Peugeot 308 needs it second year service (25,000 miles) but as it is stiill in warranty I assume it has to get serviced at a main Peugeot dealer?

If that is the case any recommendations (Antrim/Belfast area), and do the Peugeot dealers all charge a set price?

It is no longer necessary to have a car serviced by a main dealer to protect the warranty - the stipulation is that the car is maintained according to the manufacturer service schedule so you can get it done elsewhere as long as there is evidence of what the service entailed and when it was done

BUT if you have a problem either during the warranty period or after it, Peugeot wont make any "goodwill" payment towards it - eg, turbo actuator goes, EGR valve, etc, etc.

Also, you wont get the latest software updates or recalls.

Also, come resale time, it could impact the value of it.

Personally, i'd get it done by Peugeot - it wont be THAT much more expensive than getting it done by a good indy.

Ring around the main dealers and ask them for a quote.
