Hi Everyone,
I am thinking about starting a blog (yes the world definitely needs more blogs) and wondered if I could make a little extra cash with Google Adsense. Do any of you use it? Or know anyone who has success with it? Or just have any experience of it?
Thanks, Sue

I use adsense. However not on a blog, I've never had much luck with those.
I've got a website, about cats. Basically a "how to care for your cat" website.
It's nothing fancy, I'm not trying to sell anything, it's purely informational.
At the moment, I earn about $40 a month on it, using adsense. That's about £20-25. It's not a great deal, but I'm happy with it, it's not got a huge about of traffic, I'd say I get about 150 page views a day.
Adsense is a good earner, if you're willing to put the time and effort in, it took me months and months to set up my site, it's now 3 years old, and I've only just started making a profit from it.
So don't expect to be earning thousands over night.
And always make sure your content is original, and have lots of it, say a minimum of 1000 words per post (page).
There are people out there making a lot of money with it, but normally they pay other people to do it - or they have a lot of patience
But it's a great sideline - go for it!0
